The contract accelerates fielding in a region where, according to Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, unmanned systems have shifted from supporting capabilities to primary ones. Persistent awareness, resilient communications, and real-time responsiveness are now described as mission-critical requirements rather than advantages.

Hensoldt UK has secured two contracts with SRT Marine System Solutions to supply 50 radar systems for deployment within integrated national coastal surveillance networks. All systems are scheduled for delivery throughout 2026 in line with SRT's ongoing international program timelines.

The radars will be incorporated into SRT's maritime domain awareness solutions across multiple coastal regions, enabling authorities to detect, track, and manage vessel activity with greater accuracy. Supported missions include border protection, fisheries enforcement, search and rescue, and counter-illicit-activity operations.

The contracts reflect growing demand for integrated surveillance solutions that pair high-performance sensor hardware with data analytics and command-and-control systems, positioning Hensoldt UK as an expanding provider in national coastal security infrastructure worldwide.

Cummings Aerospace has completed arena testing of a purpose-built anti-armor warhead for its Hellhound S3 multi-mission effector, validating its ability to defeat advanced armored threats. The 3D-printed, turbojet-powered system is designed to be carried in a soldier's rucksack and can be configured as a loitering munition, precision-guided weapon, or one-way attack drone.

Operators can switch between modular payloads — armor-piercing, electronic warfare, or blast-fragmentation — in under two minutes without tools. The system engages targets at ranges up to 60 kilometers at speeds approaching 400 miles per hour, and the company used private funding to establish its own production line to enable rapid scaling.

The successful warhead test moves Hellhound S3 closer to a live flight test against a modern armored target, with demonstrations for allied partners and Department of Defense exercises also planned. Cummings Aerospace framed the development as delivering affordable anti-armor lethality at scale for the warfighter.

President Trump has discussed with advisers the possibility of withdrawing some of the more than 80,000 US troops stationed in Europe, according to a senior White House official.
