US Army trials are expected later this year, with deliveries from 2027 and planned modules adding lethality payloads and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) detection sensors.

The United States and Iran agreed to a framework to end their war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, with a memorandum of understanding due to be signed Friday in Switzerland.

The solicitation targets cells with capacities above 2 kilowatt-hours per kilogram, runs for 36 months across two phases, and anticipates multiple awards under prototype Other Transaction Agreements.
Abstracts are due June 26 and full proposals August 19, with a target program start of January 2027 and an emphasis on non-traditional vendors.
