🛸 Rocket One builds synthetic swarms to test counter-drone gear

Rocket One launched Swarm Stage AI, a threat-emulation platform that generates repeatable synthetic drone-swarm scenarios for counter-unmanned aircraft system training, testing, and evaluation.

The system runs on swarm-coordination technology able to control thousands of aircraft, plus a library of more than 2,500 tested flight patterns and aerial assets.

Applications include assessing radar and sensor performance, evaluating command-and-control systems, and testing detection and tracking, with demonstrations now open to US military and industry partners.

The Missile Defense Agency awarded X-Bow an $11M Phase II follow-on to develop and flight-test its Low-Cost Interceptor under the Rapid Response Small Launcher Technology program.

MDA wants kinetic intercepts of ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missile threats below $750,000 per shot, against roughly $4M for a Patriot interceptor.

X-Bow will power the interceptor with its own solid rocket motors, which the Pentagon says addresses an industrial base currently reliant on two primary manufacturers.
