💻 DT Research puts NVIDIA AI processing in rugged laptop — Read More
DT Research's new LT365PA rugged laptop pairs NVIDIA RTX graphics with Intel Core Ultra processors to run AI and image analysis in the field.
Built to process drone imagery and video without constant cloud links, it carries IP65 and MIL-STD-810H ratings plus two hot-swappable batteries.
Availability through partners and resellers starts in Q1 2027, giving mobile command posts a way to work sensor data away from a fixed operations center.
🤖 Saab flies its own AI agents on Gripen E — Read More
Saab unveiled a family of in-house AI agents after flight testing them on a Gripen E, following 2025 flights that used Helsing's Centaur.
The agents, tested mostly in beyond-visual-range combat so far, can work with a pilot in the cockpit or fly aboard an uncrewed aircraft.
Saab's AI Fighter Jet Pilot Academy and Sweden's Sferical AI compute will support agents for future programs, including the A1, A2, and A3 uncrewed aircraft.

🚤 Saab's CB90 CX combat boat goes optionally crewed — Read More
Saab introduced the CB90 CX, a larger, optionally crewed version of its Combat Boat 90 that runs on its Autonomous Ocean Core.
Three initial variants cover surveillance with a Giraffe 1X radar, over-the-horizon anti-ship strike, and short-range air defense with an autocannon aimed at threats including drones.
Sweden is the launch customer with boats in production, moving a design used by nine navies from troop transport toward sensors and weapons.
🔐 35 industry groups push defense bill to renew cyber law — Read More
35 industry groups asked Armed Services leaders Nov. 1 to keep a House defense bill provision extending the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act through 2035.
The law shields companies from lawsuits and penalties when they share threat data with agencies like the FBI and NSA, and its current extension expires Dec. 11.
Senate talks on a longer renewal remain stuck over what else to include, leaving the defense bill as the groups' chosen vehicle before the deadline.
🧊 Officials suspect Iran in military base freezer hacks — Read More
US officials suspect Iran-linked hackers of causing freezer malfunctions at around six military commissaries since about late August, according to two people familiar with the matter.
Cyber Command and Pentagon investigators are working with French authorities after hackers overrode refrigeration controls at about 350 French establishments; how the intruders got in remains unclear.
Confirmed attribution would show Iran can disrupt military-related equipment inside the US, though the assessment may change as investigators learn more.
